José Ignacio Morales

José Ignacio Morales, born in La Romana, "El Artístico", is a designer of very surprising wonderful metal sculptures and decorative objects. His works are exposed everywhere in the Dominican Republic, but he is well known internationally too, including in the United States (e.g. Chicago, Miami, New York), France, Spain, Italy, Germany, Chile and even China.
His studio annex school is located in La Romana and was founded in 1974. Go, look and enjoy!

Project in Haiti after the earthquake to put these containers (20 feet long for 1 family) instead of tents. They are resistant to earthquakes and hurricanes, economic ($ 5000 each), can be placed in record time, up to three levels high and on the roof food can be cultivated, also against the heat.
