De baai van Ocoa is ruim en geschikt voor de visvangst. Ze begint in Palmar de Ocoa, waar een van de indrukwekkendste avondschemeringen van het land te zien is. Corbanito ligt aan de baai en is een gebied met prachtige stranden van in totaal ongeveer 9 kilometer. Prachtig door de topografische karakteristieken van de omgeving, gevormd door het zuidelijk bergmassief opdoemend uit de rustige zee. Er is een strand van ongeveer 3 kilometer met grijs zand en een turkooize zee. Er zijn zones met ondiep water en natuurlijke riffen die bescherming bieden. Het strand Caracoles ligt zich eveneens aan de baai. Het is een historische plaats waar in 1973 de guerillastrijders onder leiding van Francisco Alberto Caamaño aan land gingen. De koloniale haven Tortuguero en het strand van Monte Río samen met Punta Vigía markeren het einde het hoefijzer zoals de vorm van de baai is. Bij het verlaten van de baai kom je in Puerto Viejo (Oude Haven) en Agua Dulce (Zoet Water).  The bay of Ocoa is wide and very suitable for fishing. She begins in Palmar de Ocoa, where you can find one of the most beautiful evening twilights of the country. Corbanito is situated in the bay and is an area with beautiful, 9 kilometer long beaches. Beautiful because of the topografical caracteristics of the environment, formed by the southern mountain range rising from the calm sea. There's a, approximately 3 kilometer long beach with gray sand and a turquoise sea. There are zones with shallow water and natural reefs which break the waves. Caracoles beach is situated in the bay too. It's a historical place where the guerrilla Francisco Alberto Caamaño with a few man landed in 1973. The colonial port Tortuguero and Monte Río beach together with Punta Vigía mark the end of the horseshoe, the form of the bay. When you leave the bay you go to Puerto Viejo (Old Port) and Agua Dulce (Sweet Water).  Bahía de Ocoa es amplia y propicia para la pesca al curricán. Se inicia en Palmar de Ocoa, donde se produce uno de los más impresionantes atardeceres del país. Corbanito queda en la Bahía de Ocoa y es un área que comprende unos 9 kilómetros de playas de una belleza extraordinaria, por las características topográficas del entorno que forma el macizo meridional cuando emerge del tranquilo mar. Una ensenada abierta de unos tres kilómetros de arena gris y aguas azul turquesa. Corbanito tiene zonas para baño poco profundas y arrecifes naturales que la protegen. Playa Caracoles también queda en la Bahía de Ocoa. Es la histórica playa por donde en 1973 desembarcó la guerrilla de Francisco Alberto Caamaño. El Puerto Tortuguero y la Playa de Monte Río junto a Punta Vigía, terminan la herradura que forma la bahía antes de salir a cayo Puerto Viejo y Agua Dulce.
