The municipal library Jimena Fernández Viuda Guzmán. (2008 and totally renovated in 2012)
Founded the 15th of august 1925 by Héctor Viriato Noboa, a poet and journalist from Azua. He also founded the Literary and Cultural Society Athene of which he was the president. This society still exist. A street in Azua has his name to remember his life and his work.

The statue of Enriquillo, also called Guarocuya, the Indian chief of the area Jaragua. He led the great rebellion in 1522 against the Spaniards and obtained an agreement in 1533 with some rights for the Indians. He succumbed tragically to tuberculosis in 1535, they say that his remains rest in the church of Santa María in Azua. (2001)

The ruins of the convent: "el Convento de las Mercedes", built the 31th of october of 1752 on land which was given by Gregorio Feliz and his wife María Ovando. It was used as a cemetery till the new one in the street Nicolás Mañón was built. (2001)
