This monument was realized by the sculptor Antonio Prats Ventos. In his structure the names are engraved of those who participated in the battle of the 19th of march 1844: Pedro Santana, Antonio Duvergé, Francisco Soñé, Vicente Noble, Nicolás Mañón, Matías de Vargas, José del Carmen García, Manuel Mora, Feliciano Martínez y Juan Esteban Ceara.

Now the stands are removed (too crowded, too disorderly and too dangerous because of the heavy traffic around the park) and the park is seriously renovated.
