He was born in 1977, New York. He is the two-time 400m hurdles world champion and won 42 races in a row. The only Domincan, who won an olympic medal before him, was Pedro Julio Nolasco. He won the bronze medal in boxing (bantamweight) during the Olympic games in Los Angeles in 1984. |
